In 2008, Members 16 designing the Barbie by Patricia Field Fashion and Accessory Collection in order to update Barbie’s Fashion presence. Creating a master design book for the release and Production of the collection for 2009. Members 16 designed new Graphics, logos, textiles as well as Clothing and accessories to bring a more fashion forward Barbie to life in human form. We also consulted with Mattel on events and promotions for the collections release. Which included a Barbie by Patricia Field POP UP store in Tokyo, Japan. Mattel INC also trademarked the rights to the slogans “I’m A Doll” and “I Want My Dream House” created by Members 16. Patricia Field herself was a spokesperson for the project.


Deeply moved and inspired by the documentary Film “The Universe Of Keith Haring”.  Members 16 had a vision to combine the worlds of Keith Haring and Patricia Field for a new generation of fans to celebrate the work and lifestyle of these two visionaries. David Stark of Artestar agreed and gave us permission to use the work of Keith Haring to Create the Patricia Field collection. In February of 2010, we released the collection with an Amazing Fashion and Laser light installation at The Hudson Hotel to rave reviews. “It feels like Keith is alive again,” said Julia Gruen the executive director of the foundation. The line was so successful that Patricia Field herself took over the project in 2013 after the departure of Members 16 from her company. We are please that the collection lives on.


In 1996 Patricia Field opened a new Japanese influenced store “Hotel Venus”. Hushi Mortezaie was the buyer responsible for importing and introducing Japanese Pop-culture and Harajuku street fashion to the US market.  This was an exciting time for 90’s fashion in the New York downtown scene.  This movement caught the eye of Sushi Sakai and he approached Patricia Field to join the Hotel Venus team.

  Soon after Sushi brought Artie Hach on board and over the next 16 years they were responsible for merchandise management and buying, window design, scouting new talent, creative direction, branding, visual direction, event production, fashion and accessory design, TV costume styling, retail management, store design, fashion forecasting and trend setting.


The mission was to use our talent and creativity to collaborate and expand Patricia Field’s vision.

Members16’s work introduced many trends and designs such as the vogue concept, Barbie by Patricia Field, Keith Haring by House of Field, The Calligraphy Collection, SATC nameplate necklace, MCM luxury hand bag line, Diet Coke, Rocawear and Candies to name a few.

In 2002 Artie Hach and the Patricia Field team received and EMMY AWARD for best costume design for the hit show Sex & The City


From 2008 through 2011 Members16 took on the roll of creative director and producer for the Fashion Institute of Technology’s BFA fashion design students annual runway show featuring the best designs from the graduating class. Renaming the prestigious presentation “The Future Of Fashion” in 2010.

The high profile event attracted more than 700 guests that included press, industry experts as well as Calvin Klein, Norma Kamali and Carolina Harrera.

In 1996 Sushi Sakai, Richie Rich (Heatherette) & Masuko Kato (Ash & Diamonds) All made Nameplate Necklaces to celebrate and strengthen their friendship with each other. As the New accessory buyer at Patricia Field Sushi made the necklace available in the store. It was a hit reviving the 80's Gold Trend Immediately. In 1998 Pat made a national trend with SJP on SATC. The Nameplate Necklace has been a top seller at Patricia Field for over a Decade.
